As I came back from the Social Media Club South Florida meeting the discussion among the carpool participants centered around what I’ll call “Twitter Squatting”.
Very much like domain squatting but the registering of Twitter Profile names in various fashions to have in a collection in hopes that someday they might be sold for monetary gain.
Since aquiring a new Twitter profile only requires a new email address, Twitter Squatting is quite easy for someone with just a little time on their hands.
So I’m advising all my loyal followers to go out there and get their name is every fashion they can think of and register it themselves as well as any version of their business. I don’t want you to be caught later having to pay someone for a Twitter profile name.
